About
The Adedeji Olowe FUTA Engineering Scholarship Program was established to provide financial support to exceptional Nigerian students pursuing degrees in engineering. Fully funded by Mr. Adedeji Olowe, a passionate advocate for education and innovation, the program is designed to relieve financial burdens and encourage academic excellence among talented and high-performing students.
The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the duration of the recipients’ undergraduate studies. Each year, a select number of awardees are chosen based on their academic performance, excellence, and commitment to using their knowledge for societal benefit.
Through this initiative, Mr. Olowe aims to support engineering students who are struggling financially thereby, helping them achieve their engineering goals.

Eligibility criteria
The program is open to engineering students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. The scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence, with a minimum GPA requirement of 4.0. Ten students would be chosen each year based on their intellectual ability, leadership potential, and commitment to societal contribution.
Enrollment: Be currently enrolled in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering program at the Federal University of Technology, Akure
Academic achievement: Maintain a minimum GPA of 4.0 at the time of application.
Merit-based selection: Demonstrate outstanding academic performance and a commitment to excellence.
